Two weak disturbances with limited threat potential in subtropical Atlantic

| Storm Report 2020

Disturbance Sixty Five is now centred loosely some 525 miles to the east-sou’east of Bermuda, meandering slowly towards the south-sou’west. This is now in a slight development window and may spark up briefly but should be short lived and is expected to lose any enthusiasm by Saturday, well clear of land.

There is chatter on the wires of a new low pressure system piping up over the coming weekend between the Azores and Portugal, which also has a development potential. This is likely to lounge around aimlessly in the eastern Atlantic without really bothering anyone.

Stand easy.
