New disturbance headed for eastern seaboard unlikely to develop.

| Storm Report 2021

Disturbance Twelve has beefed up slightly some two days steaming west-sou’west of the Cape Verde Islands as it heads slightly north of west at 18 knots. Development conditions ahead remain marginally favourable for development as it nears the Windward Islands by mid-week, but upper level shear is still a possible mitigating factor.

Newbie Disturbance Thirteen has formed in a trough 400 miles south-west of Bermuda, now headed west-nor’west at 13 knots. This is not particularly well organised and conditions ahead are unfavourable for significant development as it approaches the eastern seaboard over the next 36 hours.

Stand easy.
