There is only one pressure gradient of any significance across the reporting region. Disturbance Twenty is currently centred three days west of the Cape Verde Islands, making 16 knots on a westerly heading. This has shown some surface rotation but sand is preventing vertical convection for now. Wild speculation from the Canadian guy on this developing is more likely to be from boredom than any type of meteorological foresight or intuition. Won’t happen. Sorry. It’s the sand.

Stand easy.
