Disturbance Twenty One formed in the north-western Gulf of Mexico overnight. Upper level shear is keeping development in check but this is fanning out a wide band of heavy rainfall which is expected to track west and move inland into the lower Texas coast tomorrow. Tropical development is not expected.

Disturbance Nineteen is now about a day east of Barbados moving west-nor’west at 22 knots. This is expected to continue on this track over the next few days bringing increasing shower and thunderstorm activity to the northern Leeward Islands and Puerto Rico early next week as it moves across the region. Tropical development is not expected.

Disturbance Twenty is an open wave centred loosely around 200 miles south of the Cape Verde Islands moving slowly to the west at 5 knots. This is expected to track slowly towards the west-nor’west over the next few days before dissipating early next week. Tropical development is not expected.
